PC Advisor rounds up all the rumors about the launching of the iPad mini 4 and it would probably be in June or July, a few months earlier than Apple's "traditional October or November roll out."
The report published in Time though can provide readers with insights and see the clear picture why Apple would opt for early iPad mini 4 launching.
According to the report, iPad mini 2 failed to increase Apple's sales volume for this product category, prompting Apple to hang back on developing these mini versions of iPad with the latest and greatest technology designs. That leads to the next problem: the lackluster iPad mini 3.
While improvements were made for iPad mini 3, those were little compared to how Apple aggressively develops its next product items for other categories. For instance, the iPad Air which was released in 2014 got thinner and faster and better. In contrast, the iPad mini 3 retained every feature from the iPad 2 and just added it with Touch ID and a gold color option.
As such it wouldn't be surprising if Apple would completely take the iPad mini and the iPad mini 3 off the rack. If that would be the case, consumers will have limited choices in tablet but many would be able to afford either the mini 2 or the mini 4.
Even if these pieces of information were correct, there are more critical issues that Apple needs to answer and focus on than the launching of the mini 4. One critical question that it needs to answer is whether the it would be the kind of iPad mini that customers have been looking for.
According to Time the new mini 4 will feature the A8X processor, a specification upgrade that will probably make Apple "move to 2GB of memory in the iPad mini 4, as it did with the iPad Air" in last year. It could get thinner and faster too to resemble the latest iPad Air.
If the iPad mini 4 that will be launched in the rumored released date does come with the predicted features, consumers will be more than happy to let go of the iPad mini and the iPad mini 3 for a faster and higher quality tablet.
