The K-pop singing group sensation steals the spotlight at the Grammy Awards 2015 when their 2011 smash hit, 'I Am The Best', is heard on TV for Microsoft's Surface pro 3 commerical to the surprise of the many K-pop fans.
"2NE1's 'I Am the Best' being heard during the biggest music awards show is brilliant," Schitstainz posted on Twitter. "Each winner is deserving because they are the best."
At recent, Microsoft's tv ad has been aired online and on television that a lot of the viewers have caught the 2NE1's 2011 smash hit fever not even understanding Korean or K-pop as a whole.
"I can't be the only one who loves the music in that Microsoft commercial," tweeted Tom Wassell on Oct. 26.
Last fall, Billboard reported that radio stations in New York and Boston have begun playing "I Am the Best" as the track continues to receive global attention due to the commercial.
In the week ending Oct. 19, the anthemic 2NE1 single was reportedly played 24 times on WBMP New York and 14 times on WODS Boston.
The highlights at the Grammy Awards 2015 reportedly include 2NE1's 'I Am The Best' Microsoft commercial among others.
Katy Perry's "By the Grace of God" came out to a close second for Most SoundHound'ed Song.
Ed Sheeran was a real winner of the night with his superb performances generating consistent high interest throughout the evening across a number of categories.
The seasoned singing artist Annie Lennox once again proved her relevant place with her jaw dropping performance with Hozier.
But Microsoft's Surface Pro Tablet TV spot had drawn the audience' fresh interest in South Korea's 2NE1's 2011 record breaking hit, "I Am the Best," to claim the top spot for SoundHound'ed ad of the night.
The Microsoft commercial features the 2NE1 single, "I Am The Best," which based on one's preferred genre can either be dead cool or otherwise.
This latest ad of Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is something new and refreshing to see that Microsoft doesn't slam its arch rival, Apple for a change.
The Redmond giant's newest Surface Pro 3 ad presents reviews from The Verge, Stuff.tv, and TIME that claimed the company's tablet as "the most beautiful thing Microsoft has ever produced," and, "one of the 25 best inventions of 2014."
"The tablet that can replace your laptop," reads the messaging at the end of the 30-second ad titled "Accolades."
