The gaming community must be all hyped by now as Sony's PS4 single player action adventure game, The Order 1886, offers exciting new surprises and pre-order bonuses in the wake of its release date this February.
Ru Weerasuriya, the CEO of Ready at Dawn, confirmed the news and tweeted, "Here's to everyone who walked the road with us!"
Sony has also announced the preorder bonus materials for gamers who buy the game ahead of The Order 1886 release will be entitled to "The Knight's Arsenal" DLC for the game and additional costumes for the game's protagonist, Sir Galahad.
Moreover, there are also alternate weapons that comes with the DLC pack such as an Arc Rifle Prototype that has the power to unleash devastating bolts of red electricity, and an explosive Arsonist Rifle.
Gamers who preorder through GameStop can avail of Knight's Endurance Pack, a Desert Khaki uniform, and the medkit tool, Endless Blackwater tonic.
In a reported interview, Arata Naito, Marketing Manager of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia has shared details about the PS4 game as saying, "The graphics quality of the game is outstanding. And of course, that's not the only reason we're pushing The Order as one of our main titles."
"We haven't revealed much about the game, but when the game comes out on Feb 20, I think there will be nice surprises we can look forward to."
When he was asked if fans can expect a new demo for The Order 1886 before the release date, he replied, "There's no plans for a demo." Of course, Sony could change their mind at some point, but with just two weeks until release, I wouldn't hold my breath."
Meanwhile, Sony and Ready at Dawn have released a new interactive website filled with videos and documents detailing the lore of The Order: 1886. You'll find out more about the magical healing Blackwater, werewolves, and the technology the Knights use to fight evil.
Players may explore the pinboard-style website by activating ten videos and earn themselves a dynamic theme for their PlayStation 4. Codes will become active on February 17, and as it goes fans can also be able to download wallpapers of in-game screenshots and concept art.
Gaming fans who have been waiting for the release of The Order 1886 touted as one of 2015's AAA titles are just a matter of days away to get their hands on this PS4 exclusive set to hit shelves on February 20.
