Since last year's announcement to release new album by 2015, 5 Seconds of Summer are still on the progress to make the album ready for this year. However, the group's bassist created another bang on social media with his fights with his new "potential" girlfriend after he leaked info about their new album.
Recently, Calum Hood was reported to have disclosed some information about their new album through his Twitter account. He tweeted, "Wrote 2 songs at the end of the last year with @JohnFeldy and theyre easily my favorite we've ever written. So excited for this next record!!!" But, he has another trending issue about their fights with his rumored girlfriend, Jennifer Phipps causing iPhone screen cracks.
"7 days after I replaced my cracked screen on my phone and I drop it and it cracks again F****K," he said.
On the other side his mates, Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, and Ashton Irwin ere careful about disclosing about this year's album and there were no reports that they have been busy with girls apart from their career unlike Calum.
Meanwhile, with their album number two, Ashton explained last year in an interview with MTV that they don't want to release the same album. Thus, fans would be expecting something different from the previous one. "I don't want to write the same album again ... we've got a lot of time coming up, actually, to write and record again, so I'm really looking forward to that 'cause I'm feeling like I miss at the moment," Irwin said.
Rumors about a titled song leaked were also reported. Latinos Post said that the group had sung 'I can't remember' which is believed to be part of the group's track in their album to release. The song appeared online with the lyrics, "Last night a blur/ Woke up lying next to her/ Last night made a mess/ Doesn't get better than this."
Though low quality versions were actually heard, so fans were doubtful whether they were the voices of Hood and Clifford recorded through cellphone. But, if the same song will re-appear, it will be likely to be included in this year's album as part of its official tracks.
5 Seconds of Summer are nominated to 2015 British Awards for International Group category this year alongside Aussie star Sia for the International Female Artist award.
The awards show will set this February 25 in London and will be awarding other great artists like Taylor Swift and more. It will be broadcasted live on ITV.
