Chelsea Handler is pregnant, according to her own Instagram post on Monday, where her cute dog was the only featured star. Is this a real announcement or another joke from the popular jolly celebrity? She once said on a TV show that having a baby is not her thing.
"It's like a 24-hour watch. He must know I'm pregnant," the 39-year old former TV host's message on her Instagram.
That simple post sparked pregnancy rumors even at the moment she doesn't seem attached to any guys unlike in 2013 when she's still with Andre Balazs. However a day after her controversial post, the comedienne decided to address the growing buzz also through Instagram and this time she showed her flat tummy while holding an old photo.
"The last time I was pregnant was in this picture. Wake up, people. I would never do that to a baby," follow-up post of 'My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands' author.
Back in 2012, Chelsea confessed on 'The Rosie Show', hosted by Rosie O'Donnell , that she had an abortion at the tender age of 16.
"I was so delusional. I was like, 'I'm ready for a baby.' They told me, 'You're throwing your entire life away. You're supposed to create a life for yourself,'" Handler shared about her past trial.
"I wouldn't be a good mother," the 'This Means War' actress said. "You should do whatever you want with your body and you shouldn't let anyone tell you what to do."
Chelsea's opinion on 'The Rosie Show'was consistent with her April 2013 interview on 'The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet,' where she stressed that she couldn't handle raising child especially if it's a girl.
"I definitely don't want to have kids," Handler said. "I don't think I'd be a great mother. I don't want to have a kid and have it raised by a nanny. I don't have the time to raise a child. Childhood was heartbreaking enough for anybody. I don't know that I could handle my own child, especially if I had a girl, going through what I went through growing up. Not that it was so traumatic, but in many ways, it was, in your own way."
