Players of the "World of Warcraft" would have a lot of new perks in the latest released game patch. Among these perks would be a mini race game and a Twitter functionality, which would enable players to post their "WoW" experiences in Twitter universe.
The Patch 6.1 for "World of Warcraft" would allow players to post screen shots from their game in Twitter. The players would have to go to "Interface" then "Social Menu" to locate the option for Twitter. A window would open in the UI, where the player can log-on to Twitter.
Once the player had ticked the box, "WoW" would act as an app. The player can now use the comment box to post tweets for all the world to see. However if the player does not have a Twitter account or would not be putting up a Twitter account in the near future, then the other feature in the patch 6.1 might just do the trick.
"World of War's" patch 6.1 would also feature a mini racing game as well. The mini game would feature some obstacles and some power-ups for the racers. The aim of the game would be to guide the mounted character to the checkpoint and back to the starting line. But those weren't the only fresh features in the "World of Warcraft;" the patch 6.1 would also feature a new heirloom system.
As a recap, the heirloom system would enable "high-level characters to pass on their equipment to newly created characters," which pretty much what's done with an heirloom in real life, old folks had to pass them on to the next generation. The update on the heirloom system would simply help the player get organized putting heirlooms that approximately have the same levels into a group. Also, the patch 6.1 would introduce the a new achievement, "The Heirloom Hoarder," that would require the players to obtain 35 unique heirlooms in their account.
"World of Warcraft" had already stood the test of time, with 10 years resting stolidly on its shoulders; with a legacy such as that, it's no wonder Blizzard has kept on raising its game.
