Episode 15, "Forest for the Trees" of the Season 6 of the "NCIS Los Angeles" was an exciting and fast-paced visually entertaining episode. After finishing of a job in uncovering the syndicate behind anthrax poisoning in the last episode, Sam and Cullen's lives are put in danger after being abducted by enemies.
The NCIS team was very quick in discovering that the two were missing and immediately went on looking for the two before things turns out to the worst.
Callen and Sam teamed up to trace the location of a missing NSA agent but ended up being abducted. They managed to escape their abductors but ended up trapped once more after discovering that an electrified fence is restraining them from breaking free from their captors. In their attempt to escape, they ended up finding what they were looking for, Martin Samir, the NSA agent they were tasked to look for. The three of them decided to stay close and looked for other ways on how to escape out of the ISIS terrorist cell.
Meanwhile, in the NCIS office, Kensi and Deeks managed to pin point the scene of the crime where Sam and Callen went missing. The car used was surrounded by gas canisters and tranquilizers. Unfortunately, they were forced to move on to a different case and had to leave the hunt.
Apparently, Sam and Callen met the fake Martin. Martin was discretely getting 'intel' from the duo. Sam and Callen were smart enough not to trust the Martin that they had first met and ended up finding the real Martin Samir in the ISIS cell. They even managed to trick the tad and send out a message to NCIS on where they were as well as the ISIS members.
The fake Martin eventually killed himself after his true color was revealed. And just like a fairy tale story, the duo managed to put down the ISIS and retrieve the NSA agent in one stone.
In the next episode, Callen teams up with Nepali soldier Thapa to take down a spy contracted by the CIA after Sam was shot doing the ordeal.
Episode 15,"Expiration Date" airs on February 23, Monday night on CBC.
