To the avid players and hardcore fans of "Fallout," the suspense surrounding the release of "Fallout 4" would truly be a killer as Bethesda had kept silent for quite some time and that counter had not stopping ticking up to now. With nearly a decade and counting, it seemed that Bethesda would be willing to keep the fans dangling in anticipation as they've decided not to attend the GDC 2015.
Bethesda PR and Marketing Vice President Pete Hines had confirmed their non-attendance to the Game Developers Conference 2015. The event was where players expected to hear about "Fallout 4's" release date. Earlier, Hines' tweet made fans extremely excited as Bethesda would be going on tours to Europe and the US for closed doors meetings and conventions, which could mean that the announcement of the post-apocalyptic game's fourth title would be one its way.
However with one bridge cut, other players were wondering if Bethesda would make the announcement elsewhere. If the "Fallout 4" release date announcement would not be in California, players were predicting that the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) East, which would be held in Boston from March 06th to 08th might just be the event they had been waiting for.
But, reports had been pointing out to Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles from June 16 to 18 as "the event" for Bethesda to announce the release date for "Fallout 4. Players with wide imaginations pointed out that E3 had been an avenue in the past for giants in the industry to release their latest beasts in the gaming world.
Another reason why E3 could be the event where Bethesda would finally pop up their barrels and quench their players' thirst for information, would be the fact that Bethesda had never gone to E3 before. This would be their first time and what could be a fine time to reveal "Fallout 4's" release date than Bethesda's debut in E3.
