Rick Ross Confirms Wale's 'The Album About Nothing' Gets an Earlier Release Date

Singer Producer Rick Ross has confirmed that Wale's The Album About Nothing will be released on March 31.

The Album About Nothing is the rap artist's third release under Maybach Music group where Wale signed a recording contract in 2011.

The Gifted album that was launched in 2013 took the no. 1 at the Billboard 200 charts. The project produced four singles including "Bad," "Love Hate Thing," "Bad (Remix)," and "Clappers."

Gifted featured several guestings of some of the industry's relevant popular singers including Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, Ne-Yo, and 2 Chainz and has reached unit sales close to 400,000.

During his red carpet interview at the Grammy Awards night 2015, the rapper mentioned that he is hyped that Meek Mill has come back home after 5 months of being in jail for not following his probation.

Ross Maybach Music label also signed Meek Mill whose album titled, 'Dreams Worth More Than Money' is anticipated for release this year.

"The streets are ready to give Meek Mill the crown. We are excited to see his level of excitement, see what he's doing in the studio. Most importantly, see him back with his family and spending time with his son," Rick Ross told Billboard magazine.

Mill guest starred at Big Sean's House of Blues show last night where he performed 'Dreams and Nightmares (Intro)' and 'Burn.'

The male rap singer also hosted a post-Grammy exclusive party last night in Beverly Hills, California where stars like French Montana, Khloe Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, and Chris Brown all attended to.

Meanwhile, Rick Ross has revealed that there he might release an album this year after he dropped two projects,Mastermind and Hood Billionaire, last year.

Since 2006, Ross has recorded seven albums and his God Forgives, I Don't project was nominated for a Grammy in 2013.

At present, Rick Ross has been nominated for a total of five Grammy Awards but has not won a Grammy so far. This year, he was also nominated for three Grammy awards for Chris Brown's "Flame" song (Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song) and Luke James' "Options" song (Best R&B Song).
