First major and exciting details about Persona 5 release date have been revealed that can fuel the excitement of fans for the new title following the surprising launch of gameplay teaser trailer last week.
In his interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu, Persona 5 Director Katsura Hashino and Character Designer Shigenori Soejima have spilled more reveals regarding the characters seen in the video promo clip.
Apparently, the main characters appeared to wear a disguise and look like thieves. The game's protagonist is not what his original appearance as a silent hero over the last two games. His original Persona summoning demon is also named Arsene who also wears a cape to create a thief image.
He steals in order to survive and meets Anne as well as Ryuji at the start of the game. It is been hinted in the interview that the three have lost their homes and struggles with their own issues like the supporting cast in previous games.
Reportedly, what makes Persona 5 different from its predecessors in the Persona franchise is that it features a limited cast.
Hashino also announced that Persona 5 release combines two storylines, the struggles that the characters will encounter in the juvenile school and a "picaresque romance."
Similar to its predecessors, players can navigate in an extensive world in traditional role playing game style like chatting with the locals and doing myriad of activities.
Hashino mentioned that he is tense as to how the gaming community react to the Persona 5 trailer released last week and he hopes to get some pleasing feedback even just a little.
Also, the director has promised fans that the team has put their hearts on the upcoming Persona 5 release to design remarkable advanced graphics and sound better than ever.
Persona 5 will be coming out as PS3 and PS4 exclusive slated on a 2015 release date.
