This February 20, on of Sony's major games for 2015 'The Order 1886' finally set to release this February 20 exclusively in PS4. Pre-orders are already available plus special bonuses upon purchase.
After four years of developing the game, the chief executive and creative director Ru Weerasuriya, mentioned about their hard times in putting up 'The Order 1886' as an independent triple-A game studio and the high need to train university students in making this game possible.
He even added that universities should be able to give specified fields of training so when the graduates go and find work like the gaming world, they won't find it hard to adjust. "You should specialize. Specialize as much as you can," he said. He added that students [particularly taking gaming course or related programs] shouldn't think about freedom since there is no tool to connect with freedom in reality. With the creation of 'The Order 1886,' there are around 120 people working behind for four years, he revealed.
According to their official site, 'The Order 1886' introduces the unique Victorian-Era London [based from the title itself] where Man uses advanced weapons to fight against foes. Thus, the players can experience this third-person action-adventure shooter as it also goes back to the historical happenings combining myth and history during that era. Along the game, the players will be taking the responsibility to control Galahad, who is a member of an elite order of Knights, joined a centuries-old war against a powerful threat.
Briefly stated, the gamers are set to a danger in different forms both from the rebels and the humankind's real foe. With the Rebels, there is an existing conflict rage between the enemies both new and old. On the other hand, with the humankind, a Half breed which are the ancient foes are growing in population in and around the city.
With the weapons, the gamers can have the advanced technology they called, such as the Arc Gun, Thermal Rifle, and Monocular to fight against all the struggles to maintain peace and order.
However Dana Jan, the director of Ready At Dawn, cited that the game duration will be dependent to the player's ability. The statement is to clarify the rumor that the entire game would last for only five hours. Jan also admitted that 'The Order 1886' did not use the entire 100% power of the PS4. So, he positively said that the game would need more improvement especially about the development of the new system. Rather than using PS3, PS Vita as platforms, they chose to have the game in PS4 because of its accessibility. So far, this game is the "most immersive game"their team has created.
Meanwhile, 'The Order 1886' pre-orders are already available in their official site and through Gamestop. Upon purchase [of pre-orders] at Gamestop, gamers can have the exclusive bonus of Knight's Endurance Pack which includes 'Desert Khaki,' infiltration field uniform complete with 'Endless Blackwater' and 'Blacksight Regeneration' upgrades. If they would have them through their official site, players can have 'The Knight's Arsenal DLC' to equip Galahad.
'The Order 1886' can be purchased in disc or digital download. Gamers can also have pre-order collector's edition and even a 13-inch 'The Endless Duel' statue. This will be available only in PS4.
