As Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes welcomed their first child together, the 40-year-old actress reportedly wants to "tie the knot" with the Notebook actor and wants to have baby No. 2.
According the report, Mendes is feeling ready to marry Gosling, as now she is becoming used to her new life as a parent. The couple has been dating since 2011 after co-starring in The Place Beyond the Pines.
"Eva finally feels like herself again and she's beginning to look at Ryan in a whole new light," the insider told OK! Magazine. "He was so understanding through everything and she realises how lucky she is to have him."
The magazine also suggested a "summer wedding" may be on the cards.
Although neither of the stars has verified such claims, Eva has spoken out in the past about her thoughts on marriage.
"I'm not like anti-marriage or the institution, like for other people," she said during an appearance on Chelsea Handler in 2011. "And I love the idea of a union - that's all very beautiful. But I think, you know, it's a very old-fashioned, archaic kind of thing. We did it for land originally. How unromantic is that?"
Meanwhile, it was also learned that Ryan is loving fatherhood. According to the People's Magazine, it's something that he had wanted for a while.
"He's been wanting to be a father for a long time," a source told them. "He's cherishing every minute."
In a separate report, Eva Mendes reportedly "doesn't want to wait" to become pregnant again.
"She had a tough pregnancy and doesn't want to wait until she's in her mid-40s for the next one," an insider told OK! Magazine. "She's worried she may not have the strength or stamina for it. It's now or never as far as she's concerned."
Although the 34-year-old Ryan certainly wants to have another child with her, he worries about the impact on the back-to-back pregnancy to Eva's health. But they are waiting for the go-ahead from obstetrician so they could start trying for a second child.
"[He's being] incredibly strict with paying attention to her doctor's advice," the source said.
Eva previously revealed during her guesting at The Ellen DeGeneres Show that Esmeralda has yet to sleep through the night. But despite the lack of energy, Eva is loving every moment of her newfound motherhood.
"No! No, God no. She's two months! You know, we're getting the hang of it, the sleeping thing, but yeah I'm exhausted and it's the best," she said during her conversation with Ellen.
