It's a life losing episode coming up in the next chapter of The Young and the Restless as pregnant district attorney Christine Blair Williams (Lauralee Bell) suffers from miscarriage of her baby.
However, it is intriguing to note that Phyllis Newman (Gina Tognoni) might be to blame for the tragedy.
Christine has been too engrossed with inciting Phyllis on grounds of her alleged malice through poisoning Kelly Andrews (Cady McClain). It seems like Phyllis getting behind bars has been in Christine's earnest bucket list after learning that Phyllis drove the car that ran her and her husband Paul (Doug Davidson) over 20 years ago already.
With her "no to retreat" disposition, Christine beforehand suffered from mental and emotional stress, and hypertension. Consequently, she underwent premature labor and in the course loses her unborn baby.
Grieving Christine puts the blame now on Phyllis. Other spoilers of The Young and the Restless revealed that Christine is plotting a disparaging mission against Phyllis. In what way has to be verified still.
Meanwhile, in time of the couple's emotional high and grief and mourning, rumors have it that Paul and Christine will come up to cooling off. Reportedly, Paul will seek comfort and ease from long-time friend Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). In the past episodes, Nikki too was in great distress with her issues in life. Old friends seem to try to save each other. How far it will go shall be viewers looking out for in the upcoming episdoes.
Paul is cautious for Christine's actions against Phyllis as it could prompt her and their baby to suffer. Christine's miscarriage should be too painful for Paul more than anyone else. Paul has been longing to raise and see his child grow up, but this reality seems got aborted. Paul is the father of Heather Stevens (Jennifer Landon), Dylan MacAvoy (Steve Burton), and the late Ricky Williams (Peter Porte) whom he never had witnessed growing up.
