The unlikely team of Seth Rogen and Zac Efron was one of the biggest hits of the comedy genre of 2014, earning up to $268 million in the box office. With only $18 million as the budget for the "Bad Neighbors", it sure is no surprise that Universal will be picking up the production again for the movie's sequel. The first installment of "Bad Neighbors" or just "Neighbors" to other areas revolved around the story of Mac Radner (Seth Rogen) and his wife Kelly (Rose Byrne) as they transferred to a new neighborhood trying to raise their newborn daughter. But then there came a feud between their family and their raunchy fraternity neighbors, headed by Teddy Sanders (Zac Efron). It's a battle of pure hilarity of pranks and outwitting each household.
Next Catastrophe: "Battle of the Sorority Sisters"
According to Empire Online, the sequel will be the Radner family's new neighbors. As we remember in the end of the first "Neighbors", Mac won over the fight with Teddy and he was finally able to restore the peace and quiet of their neighborhood...or so he thought. After getting rid of their fraternity neighbors, they had something worse in exchange --- sorority sisters. Writers Andrew Jay Cohen and Brendan O'Brien threw a brilliant plan of making Rogen and Efron team up to battle the new noisy neighbors. Mac made Teddy round up his gang to help him get rid of the sorority. And this is probably one of the most exciting and comical films we should watch out for in 2016.
Evan Goldberg, James Weaver and Seth Rogen, the same team which produced the controversial movie "The Interview", will be still the same team which will be heading the production of "Neighbors 2".
