"Cinderella" Premiere, New Trailer Reveals Conspiracy Plot and Ella's Courageous Love

Disney, the home of the classic fairytales has recently released a new trailer for the live-action "Cinderella" movie. The story revolves around the classic fairytale of poor Cinderella (Lily James) , who was left under the custody of her stepmother, Lady Tremaine (Cate Blanchett) that her father married when her mother passed away. Later on, her father suddenly died and upon learning that, her stepmother shows her true colors by turning Cinderella into a house maid. The young maiden learned of the Kingdom's grand ball and wanted to go, but her evil stepmother ripped and ruined her dress. This is when her Fairy Godmother (Helena Bonham Carter) appears to save the day. Adventures of love and courage follows the classic story of happily ever after.

New Trailer Sheds Light On Ella's Struggles

Cinderella, or modernly nicknamed as Ella, will have a bit of twist of fate in this remake. Instead of being easily found using the glass slipper just like what the books told, the future princess will face a lot of challenges before she can finally claim her happy ever after. The new trailer starts off with the first meeting of Ella and Prince Charming (Richard Madden) in the woods. Because of their enchanting accidental meeting, the prince couldn't take off his mind of the beautiful mysterious girl.

But the blossoming affection between the two have been smashed by the Duke (Stellan Skarsgard) and Ella's stepmother "You are not free to follow your heart," he says in the trailer. A conspiracy plan against the hopeful Ella and Prince has been concocted to kill whatever chance they have for each other. "Keep that girl out of sight and you and your daughters will get whatever you desire." the Duke reassures Lady Tremaine, Daily Mail writes. Ella's stepmother commits to her evil scheme by even breaking Cinderella's glass slipper.

The fight for true love begins when Ella says "I will protect the prince from you, whatever becomes of me." Are you excited to see what new things will the remake offer? Leave your comment below.

The film will premiere on March 13th, 2015.
