‘Better Call Saul’ To Make ‘Breaking Bad’ Characters Cameos; Nacho Causes More Troubles For Jimmy

By

'Better Call Saul' first three episodes have been widely praised, a spin-off (prequel) from 'Breaking Bad' series. Still, characters known in BB will appear in the series, including Walter White and Jesse Pinkman after Mike.

Later this season, Jimmy and Mike work together. Actor Bob Odenkirk, who plays Jimmy or Saul in the future, teases that cancer-struck Walter White and drug addled Jesse Pinkman may make cameos in the second season. The actor told the Independent that "I think it can happen in season two. And, if you ask me, Bob Odenkirk, taking a wild guess - remember I'm not a writer on the show - I think one of those guys will appear in season two or three. But probably later."

Mike has already appeared in the first couple of episodes as a gruff parking lot attendant who butts heads with the sleazy lawyer Jimmy.

Actor Jonathan Banks, who portrays Mike, revealed new details about his character's role and how he'll fit into the plot.

"I just assume immediately that I'm not allowed to say anything. I really know not to give away anything. I can tell you that you learn about Mike. I can tell you that you learn about Mike's past. Mike constantly, there are so many dimensions. I enjoy that character, love that character so much that as much depth and as much background I can give him, I will. But there's also a part of him that I love that you never quite know many, many things. Hopefully if one thing is revealed, you'll want to know more about Mike."

As for the teaming up with Jimmy and his role in the future episodes, he said, "About four or five shows in. I love playing Mike and I definitely take things as they come. It's a different rhythm, but Mike is separate from a lot of things and always has been. When you play Mike, you live in Mike's world. I think probably having the character Mike there makes it more similar to 'Breaking Bad' than a lot of the other characters.

In other news, Nacho, who appeared in the third episode of 'Better Call Saul', told Hollywoodlife that he will continue to cause trouble for Jimmy throughout the season.

In an interview by Hollywoodlife with the actor Michael Mando, who plays big daddy Nacho on the show, said, "I can tell you that there are a lot of possibilities in terms of what Nacho's future is." He added, "This is a very ambitious guy, a very intelligent guy, a very dangerous guy, and he's playing a very patient game and six or seven years down the road, we don't see him and we don't know why."

AMC divulges that Jimmy will set Nacho free, but not without having his life in danger for being a snitch, through a promo clip from episode 4 titled "Hero" of 'Better Call Saul'.
