Samsung Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop Update Now Available for T-Mobile Users

T-Mobile is the latest mobile carrier to roll out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Samsung Galaxy S5 owners.

Google's latest OS update for smartphone and tablet devices needs only 1GB memory space to push through with the installation. It can be best downloaded through over-the-air (OTA) connection.

In Samsung's support page, it includes Material Design UI, interactive lock screen notification, battery life optimization, and more.

With T-Mobile already been made available for Samsung's flagship smartphone, two of its strongest competing mobile carriers have already rolled out the update for the device. Sprint recently offered the update for its Galaxy S5 users, while Verizon was first to push through it early in February. Meanwhile, AT&T will follow the lead.

Techtimes reported that AT&T "typically tends to lag behind" in terms of Android operating system updates. The mobile carrier has not confirmed anything yet as to when the exact date of its Android 5.0 Lollipop update for Galaxy S5.

Even before its availability in the US, Galaxy S5 Android 5.0 Lollipop update was first available in Poland followed by South Korea before it spread to most European and Asian countries like UK, Russia, Spain, Malaysia and India.
