After Jessica Jung left the longest and the biggest running K-pop girl group, Girls Generation, a lot of fans feared that the group will end up to disbandment. However, the group revealed that they are working behind for their next album, and show a more mature image this year.
Jessica Jung left the girl group to pursue her solo career as a fashion designer last year that shocked their avid fans. However, the group remained stable as they are working slowly with their next album alongside preparations to show off their more mature image. Yuri, one of the members, revealed through a statement that the group will have its comeback some time this year. Other than what she said, no further details was announced.
She said, "Girls' Generation is slowly preparing an album ... We are working hard in order to show an even more mature image within the year. Please look forward to it."
Part of their comeback is their new Japanese single. With the K-pop girl group's Instagram account, they posted "Catch Me If You Can," labeled as their latest single to release by April 22 this year. Yet, there is no confirmation from the girl group if this date posted is really true or not.
"... New Japan Singe 'Catch Me If You Can' will be released on 4/22," quoted from their post.
Meanwhile, as the Girls Generation are busy working on their next album, former GG member Jessica Jung has been busy promoting her fashion brand and enjoyed life as a celebrity socialite in China where she is always seen during the red carpet events.
According to some sources, one of the girl group member, Tiffany, recently gathered together with other Korean fashionistas for a photoshoot for Vogue Girl March issue for a charity cause. In the photoshoot, she wore "an all-white ensemble with a matching headband of roses," the site described. In addition, one of the highlights of the photoshoot is featuring a $206-worth of bag from Rachel Mini Cross Bag [which can be purchased through Lapalette's official online store].
