'Sniper Elite's Zombie Army Trilogy' is set to release by March 6 in consoles and PC. However, some critics seen this Rebellion's upcoming game dumb.
One site reasoned out that the upcoming game is "brilliantly dumb." According to the site, the game itself is a way to recognize how childish the game is as they also try to live up those "undead fascists."Somehow, the site is telling everyone that ever citizen can have the chance to kill Hitler himself through this game in such a way that it is represented in a different way - a different metaphor, Zombie (Zombie Hitler).
This was confirmed by Tim Jones, the Head of the Creative and Project Lead of the game. He said, "We could really think about attending to the clamouring of people to get in on consoles, bring in the new campaign and give the players the chance to finally go up against Hitler himself -- something that was teased in the first two games."
Plus, the site mentioned about how childish this game would be with a statement, "The sheet kitsch factor carries the game part-way...There's actually a solid game hiding behind the almost childish glee of (re-)slaughtering hordes of undead fascists," the site quoted.
Jones added that Zombies are great targets and the same way with the Nazis. So, there would be no argument between these two if they are evil or not. He cited, "You combine Nazis and zombies and you've got the perfect mix of legitimate shooting target."
Meanwhile, users who are using PS4 can change backgrounds (referring to console themes for a fan competition). Rebellion faced a lot of feedbacks with this feature. In response, they said, "Note for PS4 users, the ability to set a background should be available in an upcoming System Software Update." Currently, users are able to custom background and colours by changing themes. However, Sony has no confirmation yet for introducing background customization.
The Trilogy's gameplay will be both in single and cooperative modes where the Horde mode is able to support up to four players with 8 playable characters.
Rebellion Creative Director Jason Kingsley mentioned earlier that he didn't want to release the game in consoles since it is too powerful for the consoles to run. It was also announced earlier that this game will arrive in a new package of never released missions, a new horde mode, and four playable characters.
'Sniper Elite's Zombie Army Trilogy' will be available in PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms this March 6.
