"The Amazing Spider-Man 3" may not get a release as fans would have expected. The recent deal between Sony and Marvel puts the third installment of the Spider-Man film franchise in uncertainty. Drastic changes may be made for the solo films of friendly neighborhood hero as Spider Man web-slings his way to MCU.

Andrew Garfield will no longer be playing Spider-Man anytime soon after the recent deal between Sony and Marvel took place. Even though a lot of Garfield's fans were disappointed with Sony's decision, the company is looking forward to having a fresh start with its Spider-Man film franchise. According to the reports, the company is setting its sights on a new face in order to spark a fresh interest from the fans of Spider-Man. While casting is still way off, there are several actors who are fan favorite according to recent reports. Dylan O'Brien from "Teen Wolf" and Logan Lerman of "Fury" are just some of the fresh faces that were reported to be a great candidate to wear the web-slinger's suit.

SPIDER-MAN JOINS THE MCU

As the deal between Sony and Marvel is settled, there will be a lot of movies in Marvel Cinematic Universe where Spider-Man can join. First and foremost, Spider-Man will finally make his appearance in the upcoming "Captain America 3: Civil War". Spidey's presence in the said film is crucial in the storyline and it's a good news that he can finally join the upcoming film in order for it to stay true in the original story of the comic book. There are also rumors where Spider-Man may make a cameo appearance in the soon to be released "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" and possibly in the future "Avengers: Infinity Wars" movies.

Variety reported earlier that the deal between Marvel and Sony is for the best of Spider-Man's future in the silver screen. According to their report, Sony Chairman Michael Lynton has said that "This is the right decision for the franchise, for our business, for Marvel, and for the fans."

In the same report, the deal between the two giant film companies will be: Sony maintaining "creative control, marketing and distribution," Marvel producing new "Spider-Man" films and pairing him with its other superheroes in Marvel Cinematic Universe.

These may lead to a lot of possibilities including a possible reboot of the Spider-Man film franchise and spin-off films based on Sony's Spider-Man film franchise.

"The Amazing Spider-Man 3" may not get released as fans would have expected. But with the recent deal between Sony and Marvel the future of the web-slinging hero is still bright in the silver screen. Stay tune for more updates in his coming films in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
