New iPad user? Use these iPad tips and tricks below to help you do common iPad activities faster and easier, including iPad Air 2 and iPad mini.

To search the iPad via Spotlight, place your finger on the center of the homescreen and pull downward. The small search box will pop up along with the keyboard. iPad will show results in no time after typing search terms in the box.
Customize font size, brightness, contrast, etc. Make iPad easier on your eyes by using larger font size, reducing motion, or increasing contrast. To do any of these, go to Settings, then General followed by Accessibility. Opther options than mentioned above include bold text, button shapes, and labels on and off.
Turn on and off settings with Siri. Siri can turn settings on and off, especially those that you need to on a regular basis. To fire-up Siri, hold the iPad's home button for a second or two and say, " Siri, Turn Bluetooth on" or "Turn WiFi on."
Tap the clock icon to jump to the top of any app. Why bother scrolling from bottom to the top page of any app when you can jump to the very top page of any app by simply tapping the clock icon?
Quickly close multiple apps. Closing an app on iPad is made by swiping up from the app card. Same way goes for closing multiple apps by swiping up on multiple apps at a time. This can also be used in fixing an app that is acting strange without the need to restart the iPad.
Brief Comparison of iPad Air 2 and iPad mini
Both iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini were released on October 2014. Except their size, the two look very similar with the same aluminium back case, bevelled edges, and gray or gold slate.
Since the iPad Air 2 comes with larger screen, it is ideal for watching movies and doing activities that require larger screen. The iPad Mini, on the other hand, is the preferred option if it will be used for browsing the web, using Social Media, and reading books.
