Success spells jeopardy in the case of the ground-breaking BDSM film "Fifty Shades of Grey" wherein Jamie Dornan, who played as the mysterious and irresistible Christian Grey has been reported to have turned down the role for the sequels. What's the reason behind it?
NW Magazine claims that he will be leaving the cast because his wife, the actress Amelia Warner, mother of his 15-month old daughter was unhappy because of the sexually explicit scenes he had to act out in the film.
"Jamie said the movie would skyrocket his career. He tried to assure Amelia nothing would change but women all over the world now lust after Jamie. She hasn't seen the film and I don't think she will to be honest." NW added.
Despite the box-office hit of the film, earning more than $400 million from its worldwide premiere, critics are still repulsed by the film, labeling the film and the actors with negative reviews. Aside from the rumors that Jamie will be leaving the franchise, another trouble topped it. According to Metro, "Fifty Shades of Grey" director Sam Taylor-Johnson might leave the film due to creative differences and constant argument with the book's writer E.L. James. The two have been reportedly seen fighting during the filming. A source said, "Directors usually have the ultimate control over what goes on in a movie, but in this case Erica [E.L. James] was questioning literally the most minor things. She was able to have the final say over the cast, the costumes and, crucially, the script."
The "Fifty Shades of Grey" fans are worried sick of the fate of the film, but according to @ShadesUpdates, Jamie will not be leaving the trilogy. There has been no official news that the lead star will actually bail from the sequels "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed".
