'Justice League' Movie Spoilers, Cast Updates: Hans Zimmer's soudtrack clues revealed; Will Green Lantern join the film?

By

One aspect of Zack Snyder's future "Justice Leage" film that few people seem to mention is the music. And yet, Hans Zimmer's score for "Man of Steel" was by far one of the best parts of the film- while it may not measure up to John Williams' classic "Superman" music, it was a fitting theme for the Man of Steel himself.

And now, Zimmer's going to be writing the music for "Justice League"- and that means writing out seven completely different themes, one for each superhero (and then merging them at some point, presumably). And that's going to be an absolutely insane task. Especially where Batman is concerned, as Zimmer previously wrote the music for Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight" trilogy, and now he's going to have to come up with music for the same character that sounds completely different.

Apparently, that would be too difficult- as reported by ComicBook.com, Zimmer was worried he might "betray Chris" in doing any kind of composing for Batman in the film, so he brought in a friend to help with the project. That friend, fellow composer Junkie XL, will come up with Batman's theme, so there's no possibility of betraying Nolan.

Here's the question, though- how many characters will that be in total? Because a recent tease of Aquaman (played by Jason Momoa) from director Zack Snyder included the phrase "Unite the Seven." Which could mean seven superheroes: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash, Cyborg...and Green Lantern, perhaps.

Green Lantern has been confirmed for a future DC film, but he's the only member yet to be cast (although actor Tyrese Gibson has been campaigning hard over social media for the role). And with "Justice League" slowly approaching, we may finally find out just who Warner Bros. has in mind to play that final "Justice League" superhero.
