Dr. Amelia Sheperd will take an enormous risk of doing one of the most difficult surgeries possible in episode 13 of 'Grey's Anatomy' titled 'Staring at the End'. The hopeful neurosurgeon is certain that she can save the life of her colleague who has been battling brain tumor.

Geena Davis, who portrays Dr. Herman, being a guest star in the show, makes everyone fear for her character's fate in 'Grey's Anatomy.' According to a report, this upcoming episode is a game changer for the course of the entire series. Fans knew that Geena is not a regular, and therefore, she can be gone anytime. In this case, it could be her brain tumor.

Here's the official synopsis below:

"The hospital doctors become fascinated with Dr. Herman's (Geena Davis) case when Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) gives a lecture detailing the intricacies of the surgery. Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) and Herman continue to bond over the amount of cases they are trying to complete before the big surgery. Meanwhile, Bailey (Chandra Wilson) brings them a case of a pregnant woman who is close to her heart."

As many keep on wondering the possible outcomes of Amelia's attempt to do one of the most difficult surgical procedures there is, fans will also see Dr. Miranda Bailey as she takes on a case that involves a pregnant woman who is "close to her heart" for her Bailey's passion project.

It was identified by Wetpaint that the person in question is unlikely a relative of hers, taking into consideration all the still-fresh chaos that went down between her and her husband's sister, Rosalind.

Meanwhile, the synopsis also revealed that the episode was directed by Mark Jackson, his eighth time behind the camera. It will also be written by Stacy McKee, her twenty-fifth script for the show.

'Grey's Anatomy' Season 11, Episode 13 - "Staring at the End" - airs Thursday, February 26, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
