HTC Leaks Biggest Detail for One M9—Bigger Camera Unit, Two-Tone Color Scheme, Dolby Audio, Three-Finger Swipe

Even before getting the spotlight at the Mobile World Congress, HTC has already leaked juicy details of its latest flagship smartphone One M9. As frontrunner in smartphone competition, HTC assures tech geeks with better camera module, design, color schemes, and more.

Three promotional Youtube videos have been circulating around the web that boasts new and fresh features of the One M9, including the design of the phone, new camera software and abilities, in-depth theming system, and the color scheme is a two-tone metal.

Inspired by Yahoo!'s Aviate, the new home screen will suggest apps based on your current location. This smart addition to HTC Sense enables Android overlay to display frequently used apps of the day.

The rear camera boasts 20 megapixel that can zoom out to clearly see minutest details, while the 13 megapixel front camera now gets the "ultrapixel" treatment which can do better selfies in low light. The new camera module enables users to edit images with more powerful tools never seen in any other smartphone this far.

The Boomsound unit of the phone is made even better with Dolby Audio surround sound. Meanwhile, the power button is now located to the side from the previous' top. HTC also offers minor alterations on its BlinkFeed system where it will suggests meal time menus, and a bunch of updates for social media feeds.

HTC Connect also allows users to swipe screen with three fingers for streaming video and music, contrary to the earlier report of five-finger technique. Although in its generality, M9 looks to be the same with M8 whose design is said to prompt problems, the Taiwanese tech giant promises maximum One M9 experience.

Recently, a benchmarking site CompuBench has divulged details for One M9. Specifications include bigger storage size, wider screen resolution, and killer camera specs.

HTC One M9 boasts a 5.1-inch 2560X1440 QHD. In terms of system space, the new smartphone will have 2.6GB random access memory (RAM) and 23GB internal storage. Aside from the usual autofocus, face detection, flash, and HDR photo, its camera will showcase touch focus. One M9 will run in Android 5.0 Lollipop and is powered by a 1.9 Ghz octa core MediaTek processor, Imagination Technologies PowerVR Rogue G6200 graphics processing unit (GPU), and OpenGL ES 3.1.
