Mortal Kombat X release date is all fixed and the game is already up for pre-order on various online game stores.. Although it hasn’t officially come out yet, new report of an upcoming DLC expansion is brewing up.
Fighters from “Predator”
According to some of the reports, a Predator-themed release should come out in June, featuring playable fighting characters that starred from the original movie. There’s Col. Al Dillon, a CIA agent who sacrificed himself in the movie while hunting down the Predator. According to Carl Weathers, the actor who played the role, he allowed the game developer to have his appearance computer animated in the game.
Neither Warner Bros. nor NetherRealm Studios gave a comment about the rumors. However, the fact that Mortal Kombat 9 featured some characters like Kratos (God of War) and Freddy Kreuger(Nightmare on Elm Street) made the rumor sound possible.
Spawn in MKX?
Aside from the Predator characters, Spawn is expected to be included in the game as well. In one report, Spawn creator Todd McFarlane already confirmed the idea that the character will be included in the MKX fighters list.
While McFarlane’s affirmation to include Spawn in the game made everything else sound, NetherRealm would still have to give further announcement about the additional fighters in the Kombat.
Mortal Kombat X Feudal Japan Skin DLC
Another possible DLC to come out may give MKX a Feudal Japan theme. This could mean that some of the characters will be on samurai-like outfits instead of their classic appearance. Leaked screenshots were revealed suggesting that this feature may come as well on the scheduled Mortal Kombat X release date.
Mortal Kombat X release date is set on April 14, 2015, and it is expected to come out on PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows PC. A Kollektors Edition is available for pre-order, featuring physical and digital bonuses that are exclusive for players who get it.
