'Criminal MInds' Season 10 Episode 16 Spoilers, Update: BAU tracks a prison killer in "Lockdown;" Could there be more than one unsub?

By

It's been weeks since we've seen a new episode of "Criminal Minds." The last time CBS aired a new episode of their hit police procedural was on February 11, with "Scream." In that episode, the BAU tracked an unsub to Diamond Bar, California, and realized that unsub may have been abused as a child.

And since February 11, "Criminal Minds" has been on hiatus. But no longer- next week, on March 4, the series will return with another new hour of vicious unsubs and plenty of action. The latest episode will reportedly be titled "Lockdown," and will (according to TV.com) involve "Two guards at a privatized maximum security prison in Texas are murdered. The investigation reveals the suspects may be in the prison."

Presumably from the title, we can assume that the prison will go into lockdown at some point. Or maybe CBS just picked the title because it sounds cool. Latin Post, however, has the full synopsis, which reads:

"When two guards at a privatized maximum security prison in Texas are murdered, the BAU suspects that more than one UnSub within the prison could be at work, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, March 4 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Series star Thomas Gibson directed the episode. William Ragsdale ('Justified,' 'Herman's Head') guest stars as prison captain Dale Shavers."

Could there be more than one unsub in the prison? And if so, would those unsubs be guards, or prisoners? It's not clear, but either way it sounds like Rossi and the rest of the BAU may be in serious danger.

The week after, things will be just as intense. Broadway World has info on the March 11 episode of "Criminal Minds," which will reportedly be titled "Breath Play." Apparently, the BAU will be tracking an unsub in Wisconsin, and from the title we're guessing this killer has some kind of strangulation-based obsession (although it's not clear from the info in Broadway World"). Now that "Criminal Minds" is returning from its hiatus, we can finally get back on a regular schedule of being really creeped out by "Criminal Minds" every week.
