That feature is the secondary edge display which served as an extension of the screen thus where the mobile phone was named after. You could think of it as a taskbar on desktops. Its novelty features caused a commotion among users who purchased the product and found it difficult to adjust to the new feature.

1. Many users, especially those who are left handed find the new Samsung Galaxy Note Edge a bit difficult to use due to the recent addition of the mobile company which is the Edge display. Many users would complain that the side app ribbon has a tendency to appear and overlap with the keyboard while typing a message. The display settings was said to be more difficult to configure since manually selected wallpapers would sometimes not fill the whole screen since it is now wider.
2. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is said to have a shorter battery life. This new mobile from Samsung seems to be unable to keep up with the demands of active users who would use apps from their phone all the time. Although this problem is not that huge for the company, but there are other mobiles who could support longer battery life.
3. The new Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is said to cause problems for users who are fond of selfies or groupies. Instead of the usual capture button being found at the bottom of the screen, the Note Edge has digitally engraved their capture button at the Edge panel. This would prove to be very difficult to users since their fingers would tend to get in the view of the camera.
4. Yes, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a frame that is now metal but users had found something to complain about this feature. Recent deliveries of the said device would have the tendency to deliver devices which has scratches on its frames. The frame is also susceptible to dusts and other particles which may damage it.
5. Though considered lower when it comes to other high-end products, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge still is costly. That is why this smart phone is not yet commercialized.
Despite all these negative reviews, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge still brought a novelty feature which may take time to get used to but has definitely revolutionized the smart phone generation.
