The newest smartphone that the Chinese Manufacturer Xiaomi had unveiled to the public on January 27, 2015 came and went in a matter of minutes. Android Central reports that the initial stock of Mi Notes was sold out in just three minutes. However, this phablet was not withheld from the public's reach for long since Xiaomi had released the next wave of Mi Notes last February 3. It was also reported by BGR that one Xiaomi vice president had claimed that during the first day Mi Note was placed in the market, the company had received a 220 million reservations.

The Xiaomi Mi Note was China's bet against the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the iPhone 6 Plus. Up to date, Samsung and iPhone products in China are facing a tough competition. The Xiaomi device is maintaining a close fight with Samsung's entry-level and mid-range devices when it comes to prices. And it is thinner and lighter than iPhone 6 Plus. Mi Note is only 6.95 mm thick and weighs 161 grams. It's also considered as one of the best dual-SIM phones of 2015.

Xiaomi Mi Note has features that is said to compete against other prominent smart phones of this generation.

1. 5.7 in full-HD curved-screen

2. 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip

3. Adreno 330 graphics

4. 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage

5. Gorilla Glass 2.5 D (front) and Gorilla Glass 3 (back)

6. Dual Sim (nano and micro)

7. 13 Mp rear camera (six element Sony lens, OIS and Philips two-tone flash)

8. 4 Mp front camera (2-micron pixels)

The Xiaomi is often criticized for imitating the designs of Apple devices. And recently, Xiaomi's Mi Note is working on Android 5.0 Lollipop which quite similar to what runs on most Samsung devices. With these features, Xiaomi's sales in China are accelerating since they offer a good quality of devices in a cheaper price compared to other phone companies. And also compared to other mobile companies, Xiaomi's devices are often sold out the moment they go to the market. They offer flash sales in which few stocks are made available for the releasing and create near immediate sellouts.

This year, Xiaomi aims to reach a sales goal of 100 million smart phones which is a great leap compared to their last year's sales.
