Bandai Namco has confirmed Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 release as the last and final entry to the fight game franchise this year developed by Cyberconnect 2 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
Indeed, 2015 is a good year for Bandai Namco in the fighting game world with its recent Dragon Ball Xenoverse release in North America on February 24 and in Europe this Friday, February 27.
IGN wrote that CyberConnect2 has worked on all the games in the series since its debut and will be adapted from the latest story arc in the Naruto Shippuden anime.
As reported, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will feature a one-on-one multiplayer modes for both offline and online play.
Its predecessor, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution, arrived earlier last year and featured a new fighting system including a background story of chosen Akatsuki members.
The streamed gameplay demo video shows an in-game story battle between Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, the First Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village and the progenitor of the Madara Clan, respectively.
The cinematic trailer does clearly depict that it is footage from the early development stage of the game.
It is apparent that the game is trying to grasp a precise recreation of one of the original battles that ocurred at the beginning of Naruto. The battle has evolved into an epic battle between Hashirama's wood golem and the Madara's Sunsano-O combined with Kyubi.
The Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 release is also working on the fourth Shinobi World War arc that will ultimately lead to the final battle against Madara in order to save the world.
Characters from 'The Last Naruto: The Movie including the older versions of Naruto Uzumaki and company, will also be included in the roster of playable characters.
Quick-time events (QTEs) are present during the battle, which makes fighting unpredictable and a lot of fun.
Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 will hit Xbox One, PS4, PC on an unannounced 2015 release date.
