Ryan Gosling is one of the most in demand casting commodity in Hollywood right now. This is why it's no surprise that Disney considered him to be the primary choice in the upcoming live-action remake of the 1991 animated "Beauty and the Beast".
With Gosling's impressive movie credits, he might just be the prince for the beautiful princess Belle. "@EmWatson told me she'd be far more interested in playing Anastasia in 50 Shades of Grey if Ryan Gosling plays Christian. #mugglelove," Ryan Seacrest tweeted after an interview with the actress. This preliminary interest of Watson for Gosling makes the two a workable couple for the film.
Considering Gosling's shy, elusive but strong look, he's definitely the perfect star to be the cursed Beast. But let's not forget that Kit Harington (Game of Thrones) and Ben Barnes (Seventh Son) are also the fans' picks for the coveted role.
Who can be a better Gaston, Chris Pine or Channing Tatum?
Chris Pine and Channing Tatum are only two of the few names who are nominated by the fans for the role of Gaston, the devilishly handsome but egoistic villain in the story. Chris Pine already has a list of movies wherein he nailed the role of being the antagonist.
His "Horrible Bosses 2" performance was definitely effective and his "Into the Woods" performance as the womanizing dashing prince of Cinderella was far more convincing. With his recent role highly similar to Gaston's profile and character, Disney should consider him for this role. But Channing Tatum is not behind Pine's chances.
The actor has always been a protagonist in films and fans are hoping to see his potential as the bad guy. With his impressive physique and playboy smile, such as Gaston's features in the animated film, he can easily nail down the character.
So who do you think can be the film's Gaston? Do you think Disney should consider other stars for the role of the Beast? Tell us your thoughts below! Keep coming back to check the movie's latest updates.
