With all the rumors about the upcoming flagship mobile of the OnePlus Enterprise, comes an issue that is a novelty to the mobile community. As the OnePlus Two rumors would claim, this newest addition to the OnePlus family will be running on Oxygen for its Operating System. Now, it does not identify with the oxygen that people would breath but it refers to a new OS the OnePlus family had conceived.
The OnePlus Enterprise had opted to use its very own OxygenOS to launch its upcoming OnePlus Two smartphone. With this wise move according to OnePlus the following benefits could be achieved:
"We can offer better localization and faster updates. We can directly implement user feedback and make it easy for the OnePlus community to shape our ROM and create the OS that they want to use. Integration between hardware, software, and the cloud will become more seamless and unified for everyone using a OnePlus device. By creating our own software, we're better able to work directly with our users to improve our OS. It's something we've become quite fond of saying: when we work together, amazing things happen."
When asked why the company had named its newly-born OS as oxygen. They claimed that it was for the simplicity of the concept and not for what other reviews would say that it was named for its usefulness. Well, no one should be too quick to judge. According to Mobile Geeks, OxygenOS is named thus because its system is clean, simple, and flexible just like Oxygen.
OnePlus had previously declared that they will be announcing the OxygenOS on February 12 but the project had been delayed and is now rumored to be released on March according to IDT. Users might need to hope that OnePlus will get their OS ready before the launch of the OnePlus Two which will be on the Third Quarter of this year.
