"World of Warcraft", a popular series game will have its movie adaptation which will be entitled as "Warcraft". Director Duncan Jones (Source Code) will be helming the upcoming film and will be penned by Charles Leavitt (Blood Diamond). The game revolved around the battle of the Alliance and the Horde. But Jones enlightened the fans about the plot. "A Warcraft film should not be about a good race of humans battling an evil race of Orcs! Warcraft should be about heroes on both sides trying to avoid a conflict, when villains leave them no choice."

According to reports, Travis Fimmel (Vikings) will be Anduin Lothar for the Alliance and Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) will be Durotan, the leader of the Horde. Joining the them are Ben Schnetzer (Khadgar), Dominic Cooper (King LlayneWrynn), Paula Patton (Garona), Clancy Brown (Blackhand), Rob Kazinsky (Orgrim),Daniel Wu (Gul'dan) and Ben Foster (Medivh).

Duncan Jones shares film plot, Will there be a movie sequel?

Duncan Jones expressed his excitement in making the film. "First contact! I think that for a world with so much newness to explain, this was a wise choice, especially when so many people in our audience may not know anything about Warcraft... it was important that some of our characters would be seeing the world fresh as well, and that the audience could see the situation through their eyes," the director said. The director also shared his vision of what the movie adaptation would look like. "And then it begins. Battles. Flying. Swords. Hammers. An alliance griffin diving down into a battle. A man jumps on the back of the orc and stabs him in the chest." Jones narrated to the fans.

When asked about a possibility of a sequel, the director answered, "Hopefully, if I have done my job right, people will want to know and see more! There is certainly plenty more to tell! I would love to be part of that process of expanding on the lore that makes up Warcraft, but it will all depend on what you, the audience, think of our first film!"
