Promotional Video For "Arrow" Teases That Oliver Queen Accepts The Role Of Being The Next Ra's al Ghul

The television series "Arrow" maybe going for a short hiatus, but it certainly left its viewers immediately scrambling for answers right after the last episode ended. Episode 16 aptly titled "The Offer" will tackle the implications that arise not just from the Arrow's inner cirlce but also from Ra's al Ghul's side due to latter's unlikely proposition.

From a recent official teaser video for March 18's episode, both Oliver and his trusted companion Diggle have made it back to Starling City miraculously in one piece. Both individuals are still caught in a daze from The Demon's Head's request. A question in bold letters that reads "IF YOU COULD SAVE THE WORLD WILL YOU SELL YOUR SOUL?" is a forbidding indication for this episode's storyline. Ra's in the official teaser gave Oliver an impending warning that those closest to him will be the ones who will betray him also. Oliver now is torn between accepting the offer and the adverse reaction that certainly will come from his friends, with the Arrow at the end of the clip hesitantly declaring, "Maybe I should be Ra's al Ghul?"

Along with the promotional video, a synopsis was also released in hwhills.com. The hooded vigilante carrying a bow and arrow isn't given time to rest, as a new villain terrorizes Starling City, an antagonist dubbed as the "Murmur". Nyssa, now an estranged daughter of Ra's al Ghul will continue to form a mutual bond with Laurel as they are both still devastated by the murder of Sara. Before the episode ends, she will also give Laurel a proposition. Thea herself will have to deal with a difficult situation as his brother brings the gravely injured Malcolm Merlyn. Meanwhile, Police Captain Lance will close his doors to her daughter Laurel and Oliver, for both not telling him immediately the truth of what happened to Sara.

This episode is directed by Dermott Downs and story written by Ben Schartz and Brian Ford Sullivan.
