Will Smith records his First Album to Release with Kanye West for 7 to 8 songs in a row?

A world-renowned actor, Will Smith becomes a new hitmaker. Recently, it was reported that he had worked with Kanye West for some of the songs included in his new album.

Amid his busy schedule as an actor as he stars in the upcoming movie, 'Focus' to premiere this February 27, he still got the time to work with great artists for his album. One site mentioned that he had worked with Kanye West for around 7 to 8 songs to include in his album.

The former Fresh Prince said in an interview, "I spent a week or so with 'Ye and we went into the studio a couple of times and he's trying to get my gassed up ...want to say, 'Yeah I'm gonna do it!' and then get in there and suck. I'm going today to stay cautiously optimistic."

He also revealed the progress with the songs they both worked during the red carpet interview during the premiere of his movie. He cited, "You know I've recorded a lot ... I've recorded a lot. I don't have anything I like yet, but I've probably recorded around seven or eight [songs]. It's not for certain, it's just explorative."

In addition to the news, Smith has also taken the advice of his son, Jaden with his song writing since Jaden himself has becoming increasingly popular with the music scene from the past years. He said, "I can't write and stop, I have to keep going and going and write them out. I've never worked like that before but I think I might give that a shot."

The collaboration with the two, Fresh Prince and Yeezus became more tantalizing in a minute. According to the same source, he has recently rapped in the Letterman and Fallon's shows weeks ago and just last night during the Kimmel Live! where he delivered a rendition of "Summertime" with Cleto and the Cletones.

Will Smith might be focusing on his new album release since 2005's Lost & Found album.
