The Guardians of the Galaxy was massive hit when it was shown in the cinemas last 2014. And with a legion of followers excited to see the next adventures of these unlikely heroes, an addition to the group could set a blaze to the already fiery combination this team already has. Rumors of Iron Man going to outer space and a possible team up with these inter-galactic heroes in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 are spreading like wild fire in the movie entertainment industry.
Iron Man seems to be a favorite cameo when it comes to super hero movies. Maybe it has to do something with the mustache or the redeeming personality of Tony Stark which we all adore. Iron Man will be in Avengers 2: Age of Ultron and Captain America 3. The phenomenal marvel civil war takes place at Captain America 3 and if movie producers would follow how the story in the marvel comics goes, Iron Man will set on a new journey, outer space after the war and could possibly set the rip in the Marvel Universe in motion.
Avid followers of the Iron Man knew for a fact that Tony Stark had finally decided to leave the Iron Man suit behind and enjoy his new found life living as a normal, cynic and adorable businessman. But a rumored reboot is also on the move so it would really be a big possibility to see the red suit together with the Gamora, the Rocket Raccoon, Groot and Star Lord/Peter is indeed possible. A franchise of the Iron Man series seems to be in motion as well because fans can't seem to get enough of the charming Tony Stark.
On the other hand, Robert Downey Jr shared I an interview last 2013 on Entertainment Weekly that he intends to dominate the playing field of super heroes, by himself by launching a series of Iron Man standalone movies creating a franchise. Supporters of the Iron Man series would be delighted if he would eventually push through with this.
Meanwhile, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be officially released on June 28, 2017.
