The debut of the fifth season of the hit TV series 'Teen Wolf' is still around four months away, but the show's followers just can't wait for the return of Scott McCall and his 'supernatural gang' at Beacon Hills. The last season also left a number of unanswered questions that further fueled fans' excitement, with many hoping that this season would provide answers to some of them.
Fortunately though, we got a little more information about what to expect. During a recent interview with TVLine, actress Shelley Hennig, who portrays Malia, shared about her character's relationship with Stiles, going in-depth on the character of the Desert Wolf (a.k.a. Malia's mother), and how the upcoming season would fill the blanks that were left in the previous one.
"It does feel like we picked up where we left off, but there are a lot of new things to be excited about - and plenty of new things to be afraid of," Hennig stated in the interview. "We also haven't forgotten the past, which is what I love about the show; it's not like everybody suddenly forgets about characters that die."
Hennig also revealed in that same interview that she and the other cast members of the show have started filming the first quarter season five. She stated: "We're kind of filming all over, different episodes, but we're definitely in the first quarter."
Other things to watch out for in the coming season of 'Teen Wolf' is the development of Malia and Kira's (Arden Cho) friendship, as well as the introduction of Theo, who will be portrayed by new cast member Cody Christian.
'Teen Wolf' season five hits the small screens in June 2015.
