For some people, there's a thin line that separates loyalty and treason. With such a serious note to begin, Jeremy Renner who reprises his role as Hawkeye in the second installment of the Avengers film franchise, enlightens us about their two new recruits who are both sitting on a fence when it comes to being good and evil.
The Scarlet Witch aka Wanda Maximoff portrayed by Elizabeth Olsen, is a human mutant with an ability to "warp reality" in the comic books but in the scenes from the recent video clips her powers dwell within the lines of mind control. She has a twin brother, Quicksilver aka Pietro Maximoff portrayed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who possesses supehuman speed. The twins however have a devotion or duty to the Avengers which is not clear in meaning or intention. Renner states in an interview that,"It's a little blurry on where they stand, which I appreciate. I'm sort of policing them to see if they're worthy or not, if they're good or bad guys. I question them a lot."
He also mentioned that, "They're great characters and my character and them have a lot to do together". Which sustains the certainty that Hawkeye does have a "questionable relationship" with the Maximoff twins.
Again, it is like a line drawn in sand for the siblings: there could be love or hate for them in this team. In one scene from the shot-by-shot breakdown analysis from Vox. The Scarlet Witch is battling Ultron's robot army next to the Avengers. In another shot, she could be clearly seen bewitching the Black Widow with the latter's pupils giving off a red dilatation. Then in another photo, the main villain, Ultron is standing next to both Wanda and Pietro.
Also in an alarming recent video clip from Cinemablend, Quicksilver without a doubt lunges at a hunkered down Captain America, hitting Cap hard on the jaw.
Whenever to whom, the twins will both be clearly siding with, "Avengers: Age of Ultron", is still less than two months before finally making it on the big screen.
