Another set of information about Microsoft's laptop/tablet hybrid Surface Pro 4 has been leaked online, including its alleged release date and specs.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will reportedly sport a 12-inch or 14-inch screen size with resolution 2160 x 1440 resolution, while its read only memory space will be doubled at 16 GB from Surface Pro 3's 8 GB, and a maximum of 1 TB of internal storage.
In terms of power, Microsoft is said to use fifth generation Intel Core processor, known as Broadwell, in exchange for Haswell dual-core i5 and i7 Intel processors. Microsoft is ditching Haswell to increase efficiency for Surface Pro 4.
Elsewhere, Microsoft is also reported to use an Intel Atom 64-bit processor. There is not too much information available about this new chip as of now aside from its codename Cherry Trail, but accordingly, Atom 64-bit processor will boost battery life, graphics and performance, allowing the laptop/tablet hybrid bear with more difficult tasks like playing, recording and editing high-end video.
Surface Pro 4 is bearing the burden for now since its predecessor Surface Pro 3 is deemed the best Surface Pro device yet. Surface Pro 3 was released on June 20, 2014 and tech geeks have been nosey about the next offering of Microsoft.
Last February, Tech and Prince has announced that Microsoft will release Surface Pro 4 in July 2015, and that they just looking for good chance to reveal the news.
The full post reads: "The Surface Pro is going to be available on July 2015. The reason why this hasn't been announced yet is because Microsoft wants to make this announcement a big deal and they are waiting for the perfect event so that they could announce it there."
Previous releases of Surface devices by Microsoft have been not in a pattern. Surface was released on October 26, 2012; Surface Pro was released on February 9, 2013; and, Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 were both released on October 22, 2013. Other reports point its release might be around August to October 2015.
According to an expert analysis, Surface Pro 4 will cost £600 to £1,800.
