While Dancing With The Stars host Tom Bergerson has kept mum about spoiling the upcoming show's secrets, he did drop a few hints during the recent DWTS2015 spring season cast announcement. It appears that Bachelor Chris Soules is now a 'done deal.' for Dancing With The Stars Season 20.
According to a report, show veteran Karina Smirnoff has announced that she won't be joining the stallar roster for this year. The 37-year old dancer took to her Instagram to announce the shocking news. Smirnoff said that after 16 seasons of competing, she has decided to move on with another chapter of her life.
"Many of you have been asking if I will be back for season 20 of 'DWTS' and I wanted all of my incredible family to hear it directly from me. After a lot of thought and prayer, I've decided to focus my energies on some other exciting endeavors including adding author to my resume," Smirnoff said.
"I have absolutely loved dancing for all of you for all these years and feel blessed to have been given a platform to put my passion for dance, choreography and creativity on display. 'DWTS' has been a huge part of my life for the last 10 years and I will always have a special place in my heart for it." she added.
Contestants will also be competing for a dazzling golden hued trophy this season instead of the famed mirror-ball trophy. This is just one of the exciting new twists in the brand new season.
Bachelor Chris Soules will be facing some rather tough competition this coming season , with gymnast Nastia Liukin, war hero Noah Galloway, and Rumer Willis, among others.
"Dancing With The Stars" season 20 will debut on Monday, March 16 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
