Sledgehammer Games tweeted about Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's minor patches for PS3 wherein they said, "connection optimzations and small UI fixes." However, with Sony's testing, there was a need for bigger update for both PS4 and PS3 consoles. Thus, a lot to expect for Advanced Warfare.

Sledgehammer Games tweeted hours ago about the connection optimizations and small UI fixes along with the weapon tuning, and more. They said, "Game Update: March 5th (PS3): Connection optimizations and small UI fixes. Weapon tuning, Grand Master, etc. still pending for PS4 & PS3."

According to reports, these elite awards, which were confirmed pending as of the moment, allow players to enjoy challenges with the newly inventive ways to level up. They cited about the number of prestige ranks that they could have for the entire gameplay. There will be 15 new Master Prestige ranks and at the same time Grand Master Prestige character gear set which will be give players the opportunity to continue in their ranking and earning their XP while being granted with titular set of purple armour. These were said to be the elite awards given to gamers of Advanced Warfare.

The same source also explained that in each new rank of the Master Prestige, it will unlock a specific Elite Loot Weapon for multiplayer matches. On the other hand, entering the Master Prestige will reset their XP.

Aside from the Grand Prestige ranks, players can also enjoy gaming with Advanced Warfare's newest directed energy gun. Gamespot reported that this new weapon is considered unique because it's hybrid which has the ability to switch between the LMG and a shortgun on the fly.

Moreover, the said weapon is powerful unless if a player know how to use it. This OHM directed energy weapon together with a new OHM-Werewolf custom variant are included in Ascendance, the game's next expansion. For users who have already the $50 Advanced Warfare DLC pass can now download new weapons.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's next expansion, Ascendance, is yet to be released. No word from the game developer announced yet. For Xbox users can have a crack at the DLC one month before Playstation and PC players per exclusivity arrangement between Microsoft and Activision, GameSpot cited. .
