"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will be released for PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 19. Game developer CD Projekt Red gave fan a teaser gameplay preview in the recent 2015 Game Developers Conference. While the visual graphics of the game is a big step up from the previous titles, "Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will also get a new difficulty feature that will test the skills of its players.
CD Projekt Red, the game developer, teased the fans of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" at the Game Developers Conference this year during the presentation of Nvidia. The developer showed a brief gameplay demo of the upcoming game and fans were all exhilarated with the stunning visual graphics of the game.
The impressive visuals of the "Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" game shows off the breath taking landscape as the protagonist Geralt roams the land. The grassland, lighting and shadows perfectly blend in the overall visual performance of the game. The polished combat system was also demonstrated and it runs smoothly with zero lag in the newly improved graphics of the game.
Even though the fans were all in awe of the upgrade graphics of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt", the game developers were quick to point out that their presentation is not yet running at the highest graphical setting. The developers even teased that "We're saving this for when you buy the game; we want you to get a bit of a slap across the face. That's not even the highest."
The demonstration of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" at the Game Developers Conference 2015 is not the only upgrade that CD Projekt Red is implementing in the upcoming Witcher game. A new difficulty "Dark difficulty" level is going to be implemented which will push the skills of the players to the limits. Under the new system, Geralt will have to complete his mission, including the side-quest, only once without any second chance. This is often referred to as a permadeath system in other RPG games and its inclusion to the game's already complex combat system will weed out the hardcore Witcher gamer from the casuals. Philip Weber from CD Projekt Red explained that "Dark difficulty is something that many people in the company are very passionate about," however he ended it with a caveat that "If you die five minutes before the ending, it's over."
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is set for release on May 19 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Fans will finally experience the stunning visual graphics of the game and the challenging combat system in their favorite console.
