Xbox 360 gamers can now build their Xbox One Library for free by claiming Xbox One Games with Gold Titles every month. Microsoft has just recently announced that they will reward their Xbox 360 loyal gamers with free Xbox One games even if they do not have an Xbox One console.
Larry Hryb, the Director of Programming for Xbox Live, revealed the great news in his Major Nelson blog. According to Major Nelson, "Starting today, Xbox Live Gold Members who don't have an Xbox One yet can start building their library of Xbox One games directly from Xbox 360 by taking advantage of the Games With Gold program."
The Xbox Live director also provided a simple and short video tutorial in order for gamers to avail the free Xbox One Games with Gold Titles. These free Xbox One games will be released every month and Xbox loyalist ought to take advantage of this new system in order to expand their game library even if they don't own an Xbox One console yet.
According to a recent report, the free Xbox One game offer was extended to Xbox 360 owners in order to urge them to transition to the latest console and pick up an Xbox One. This is a great marketing strategy since it will tip most 360 gamers to get Xbox One over the PS4 considering that they already "build" their gaming library even before they purchased the console.
By just having Xbox Live Gold, 360 gamers will be able to build up a substantial Xbox One game library since new Games with Gold Title will be made available every month. There are also reports that Microsoft may give away multiple free Xbox One game in a special month like April.
For the month of March, Xbox 360 gamers can now grab both IDARB and Rayman Legends for Xbox One. Tomb Raider can also be picked up for Xbox 360 and BioShock Infinite later this month.
