Walking Dead Star Norman Reedus: Face Licking Explained, The Actor Refuses To Lick A Fan Face During Conan's Show?

By

On Tuesday, March 3, Norman Reedus has a night out in Los Angeles. The 46 year old "The Walking Dead" star visited Conan the same night and finally revealed why he like licking fans' faces.

He explained, "It started cause I started licking my cast mates...and it became a thing. And I went to London and I took a bunch of selfies with monuments and stuff where I was licking monuments...and it became my urban dictionary thing." He even told how sometimes dads go up to Norman and ask him to "Norman" their daughter.

The Walking Dead actor is just a man who seems to love to have a good time when he's behind the camera. He's just a fun loving guy who loves his mom, loves his fans and loves licking people around. He honestly admits during Conan's interview.

The licking began between him and his co-stars, it soon spread outside the set. It spawned into the Urban Dictionary terminology which is not really feat but it does show some type of cultural influence. The term "reedus" coined as a verb pertaining "to lick someone's face."

A very excited fan was trying to get Norman's attention to get #reedused during Conan's show wearing a shirt saying "Norman Please #Reedus Me." This is not the strangest thing a fan could ask from an actor. This also happened to Boondock Saints. However, it never materialized, Norman took a second to make his mother the devil horns and greet her happy birthday. This melts the hearts of the fans watching, almost making them cry, when the actor finally said goodbye in the show.

"The Walking Dead" airs on AMC, Sunday at 9pm, although, you won't see Reedus licking people on the show, but his ability to calm a baby in his arms and his crossbow skills are pretty awesome.
