Samsung fans might need to wait a bit longer for the release of Samsung's latest tab, the Galaxy Tab S2. According to Sammobile, a mid-summer release in UK is timed for the Galaxy Tab S2. This would happen some time in July which is also the same month where the previous versions of the Galaxy Tab were released.
It is no secret to the public that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 would come in two sizes. The S2 would come in 8 inch and 9.7 inch models. These two models would be most likely similar in terms of features and functions. However, the Samsung Galaxy S2 models seemed to have been a drop lower in terms of sizes as compared to its previous versions. One would be able to note that the original Galaxy Tab models have the size range of 8.4 inch and 10.5 inch. The reduced size of the S2 would also mean that the screen resolution would be reduced from 2560 x 1600 pixels to 2048 x 1536 pixels. But this would not mean the display is a disappointment since it would still be using SUPER AMOLED panels.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will have an Exynos 5433 processor and will run with Android Lollipop Operating Software. It will carry a 3GB of RAM and a 32GB of storage. This could be upgraded to 128 GB through a micro SD. Both models will feature an 8Mp camera at the rear and a 2.1MP camera at the front.
Comparing the two models of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 to its renowned competitor Apple, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is thinner. It measures up to 198.2 x 134.5 x 5.4 mm and weighs 260 grams for the 8 inch model. The 9.7 inch model measures 237.1 x 168.8 x 5.4 mm and weighs about 407 grams.
Samsung fans might have to expect a price of £319 for the 8 inch model and £399 for the 9.7 inch model.
