Katie Hamilton and his husband Josh faces a big controversy after it was reported the Major League Baseball (MLB) player is allegedly using cocaine. The issue went worst as another gossip flashes the couple is planning a divorce after the Los Angeles Angels pro and the Real Housewives of Orange County star had a fight.
According to a source, "Hamilton has told people his latest spiral began around Super Bowl weekend after a fight with his wife. Because he cannot carry cash or credit cards, Hamilton wrote himself a check to cash. He wound up at a strip club and used cocaine."
Yahoo Sports revealed the MLB star is having a hard time coping up with drug addiction for years and recently commissioned him in a program requesting his submission of drug test results. However, Kate's husband failed to do it because allegedly he confessed he's using drugs before his scheduled drug test. Many baseball fans believed that the Angels outfielder should be suspended or terminated because he violated the rules and regulations of the league, but others consider it since this is the first time Josh break MLB guidelines.
Hamilton has a history of drug addiction, but Katie helped him to recover. Also, the baseball player gave up his drugs and alcohol dependence after he was challenged by his grandmother which he claimed he stopped since 2005. But after this, Josh was allegedly positive for drug use after a test made by MLB by the end of February. According to CBS's Jon Heyman tweets, he said Hamilton is using cocaine and claims the MLB athlete confessed. "Hear hamilton had relapse. Believe occurred a couple months back. Involved at least cocaine. Honorably, he confessed," one of Heyman's tweets. "There's no word of a failed test. Word is, Hamilton told MLB about relapse. He'd be put in PROGRAM as 1st time offender," he added.
On the other hand, wife Katie Hamilton is said to be affected with the issue and will be quitting Real Housewives of Orange County. Nevertheless, Vicki Gunvalson said last month she'll be adding new casts for the show. "I definitely think we have some room for some new cast members. I think every season when we have brought somebody new in, it definitely has shifted it up a little bit. Because people, although they want to follow your story, they also want to see new stories, and how we react to those new stories. So I think we've got room for some more," she said.
