Sony announces ‘DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition’ release; Spring spells budget bonanza for PlayStation Plus members

Sony just recently opened its PS4 game emporium or so it seemed as tons of games would be set for release this week. Among these games would be the much awaited "DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition" as well as "Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number."

"DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition" was one of the most anticipated titles this season especially as their game developers had declared time and again that the game's graphic design was spectacular as it would smoothly run under 1080p60 on next generation consoles. Add to that, Capcom producer Rey Jimenez explained that they have made modifications on the boss fights to keep gamers on the edge of their seats.

Meanwhile, a recent entry on the PlayStation blog featured the line-up of games that would coincide the launch week for "DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition." Among these games would be "Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number," which would be the finale to the series; it would be "set against a backdrop of escalating violence and retribution over spilled blood in the original game." Gamers could also check out "Sniper Elite 3: Ultimate Edition," which would also be released this week and would contain nine additional DLC packs with the game as well as a new set of multiplayer maps.

On other news, Sony might seem to be on a roll as its EU division leaked a game that was set to be released for free under PlayStation Plus. "Dishonored," a stealth-action game, was accidentally listed as part of the games set on release for March. Later on, PlayStation EU apologized for the wrong tweet and announced that the game would not be released for free until April on PS3. "Dishonored" was considered as one of the best games of 2012, based on a report from Cinema Blend.

Sony would continue releasing new titles as well as free games throughout the season. PlayStation Plus users should watch out for the discounts they could take advantage of, especially as Sony would soon gear up for its franchise-wide sale that would include "Call of Duty" and "Grand Theft Auto."
