Some people were destined for greatness; that was what one "Destiny" gamer proved after defeating an immensely difficult multiplayer raid without firing a shot and conquering it singlehandedly.
The 9-minute video uploaded by gamer The HM05 featured how the raid, "Crota's End," could be beaten solo. He demonstrated that ingenious planning as well as uncrushable determination was all it took to beat the finale of the DLC "The Dark Below" without the use of guns, and only with hand grenades and melee punches. His secret was a "highly-refined Warlock, Sunsinger supers and a cranked up melee punch," based on a report from Escapist Magazine. Truly this gamer defied all odds in a raid that normally took a team of six with guns riddling the entire arena with bullets.
However, this guy proved his detractors all wrong. In fact, he called out to them after beating the raid, which was also amusing; even he was surprised with his accomplishment. Who wouldn't be amazed with that feat; completing a raid so difficult, alone?
"Crota's End" was released as part of the DLC "The Dark Below" last December. It was regarded as the most "testing" part in the DLC, which had enemies at level 33, based on a report from Gameranx. The raid was designed for veteran players; must be the reason why it took The HM05 six months to master his strategy and defeat the raid. Then again, he remained undeterred.
Meanwhile as gamers celebrate The HM05's amazing feat, they should also keep a lookout on the upcoming 1.1.2 update for "Destiny" that would be released very soon. The upcoming update would target the "WEASEL errors" gamers have been encountering, as well as issues on the 4th Horseman.
For the time being, gamers could enjoy watching the impossible made possible with the help of unrelenting determination and strategy by checking out The HM05's YouTube channel as he continued to turn multiplayer raids into single player stunts.
