Blade Runner: The Final Cut gets new trailer for the 2007 version of the 1982 dystopia sci-fi classic for a re-released theatrically in 80 UK cinemas on April 3, 2015 in conjunction with the British Films Institute and Warner Bros.
The BFI's interesting trailer will remind the new generation moviegoers of how time can change perceptions. It has been revised due to its studio insistence and has been planned by critics on its release in 1982 in the years since it has been reassessed as a genre masterpiece. Ridley said in a statement, "The Final Cut is my definitive version of Blade Rubber, and I'm thrilled that audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy it in the way I intended on the big screen. This new trailer captures the essence of the film and I hope will inspire a new generation to see Blade Runner when it is released."
There have been seven versions of Blade Runner film that were delivered over the years with the last one being released in 2007. It has stricken the big screen at film festivals in Venice and New York as well as theatrical showings internationally before it has been played in home videos.
Director Scott has return to post production to create the long-awaited definitive new version of the film. Blade Runner: The Final Cut contains never-before-seen added or extended scenes, added lines, new and improved special effects. The trailer proves why Blade Runner remains one of the most important neo-noir thrillers ever made using Vangelis' eerie, electronic score to soundtrack a selection of the most famous scenes despite of the fact that it's been more than 30 years after it first hit cinemas.
Actor Harrison Ford will be back on big screen as a replicant hunter Rick Deckard in the said new trailer which has been released last March 10, 2015 for an upcoming UK screening of Blade Runner: The Final Cut. The 72-year-old actor has starred in 1982 sci-fi classic which has been directed by Ridley Scott together with Sean young, Rutger Hauer and Daryl Hannah.
