The 'Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, 'Pokemon X and Y' Special Battle Season 9 has been announced alongside the rules of the event that runs March 17 to May 15 for all four games.
Serebii, a reliable Pokemon event outlet, has revealed that season 9 carries out the standard league rules for the game sets and the type of battle is single battles that allow native Generation 6 Pokemon in 'Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire' and transferred Pokemon in 'Pokemon X and Y'.
Each battle of Season 9 only lasts for 10 minutes and selection of Pokemon has to take 30 seconds and 15 seconds for Turn selection.
Almost all of Pokemon from the National Pokedex can be chosen with the exemption of Arceus, Celebi, Darkrai, Deoxys, Dialga, Diancie, Genesect, Giratina, Groudon, Ho-Oh, Jirachi, Keldeo, Kyogre, Kyurem, Lugia, Manaphy, Meloetta, Mew, Mewtwo, Palkia, Phione, Rayquaza, Reshiram, Shaymin, Victini, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zekrom and Zygarde.
The Pokemon needs to be at Level 50 which any Pokemon that exceeds the requirement must be downgraded. Based on the usual rules applied, no two Pokemon can have the same hold item.
Players of the free to play 'Pokemon Shuffle' can do more with the recently received new update 1.1.2 where they get addition of Kyogre from 'Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.'
IBTimes wrote that according to Nintendo Life, the Kyogre challenge will be up until March 23 and for those who will be playing the first time gains a jewel. Upon completion, players can cash in 1,000 coins, however, to succeed in the challenge, one is required of an upgraded Poke Ball that costs 2,500 coins.
